Who is YOU?

Contempt is free and my cup runneth over
My neighbor loves to hear the sound of his own voice
And his sister
His sister can't help, but take herself so seriously
But seriousness is really nothing, if a fool is handling the reigns
The reigns are then devastating and a mockery of true intellect
But whatever the situation, we can be only passive-aggressive arguments, at best
And we can dance around our hatred, but why?
No one is hesitant-- with their sucker-punches and all
But we HAVE to be the "good-guys"
So that no matter what-- at least we're likeable, right?
But why should leather jackets defeat suspenders?
Or is it the other way around?
Oh whatever
The circumstances make me go on and on
Some people are just awful, but they provide material
But some are so awful, that they're not even worth another line
