I'll Never Abandon My Dream
51Bring all your thoughts to the garden
And leave all your worries behind
I’m planning to act as your pardon
From this moment on, down the line
Wipe all the weight from your eyelids
And look at the world as it is
Put down your guns and your high bids
For you are not yours, hers, or his
Live like you’re earning a profit
And savor the breath in your lungs
Consider your motive, and stop it
No more, shall you kill with your tongues
The grass is so high; the moon is so low
And baby, we’re stuck in between
I may say yes, and you may say no
But I’ll never abandon my dream

This is a beautiful poem. I hope that you have not abandoned your dream of being a writer.
